The Blackshad is a soft bait designed to be used in any situation. The project started from the need to have a lure with a tapered profile to help the casting action but also a wide section to imitate a large sized prey fish. With all this features, combined with an aggressive action during the retrieve, the Blackshad is designed to be used in any situation.
The particular triangular section gives the impression of a voluminous prey to all predators that hunt from the bottom such as pikes. This feature, combined with a tapered profile, gives to the Blackshad a voluminous impact, without overloading with excessive weight. The Blackshad is a terrific effective lure for big pikes and extremely easy to cast even in the largest sizes.
The characteristic shape and section of the Blackshad make it particularly aerodynamic and able to maintain a perfect flight attitude during the casting action. This allows to significantly increase the casting range, which is extremely useful and important when dealing with deep waters fishing.
The Blackshad is created with an oversized paddle, which gives the lure an extremely aggressive and stimulating action. This shad can be used in any situation and in any layer of waters.
The whole color chart was designed, tested and built from our experience. The goal was to provide a complete range of colors which allow to face any type of situation and environment. The differences in reflection, contrast and transparencies are creating a selection between natural colors and other more striking ones.
